Meet Dr. Brad Dobson

Brad Dobson, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry (UHCO), and earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr. Dobson is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, and is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and the Central Texas Optometric Society. He particularly enjoys pediatric optometry and advanced contact lens fittings.

While at the UHCO, Dr. Dobson participated in several special studies in the areas of pediatrics, glaucoma, and complex contact lenses. As an intern at Texan Eye Care in Austin, Texas, his primary duties were the management of LASIK and cataract surgeries. Shortly after completing his second internship at Vision Centers, Dr. Dobson began practicing optometry at Bee Cave Vision Center.

Originally from the Kansas City, Kansas, and the Lake Ozark, Missouri, areas, Dr. Dobson now makes Austin, Texas, his home along with his wife and their two children. In his free time away from the office, Dr. Dobson stays very active with his family. His hobbies include traveling, exercising, and exploring all the great things about Austin and the Texas Hill Country.
